Just catching up on the last of Mason's birthday pictures. 

On the day of his birthday it was "Read My Shirt" day at school.

This shirt couldn't be more PERFECT for Mase!

Just like every year, Mason asked for a Na Night cake!

Just like every year, my cake is a VERY loose interpretation of the real thing.

This year Mason said, "Now Mom.  I want you to actually LOOK at na night when you make the cake."

Trust me Buddy, I did!!

Kade's team has been kicking butt in basketball this year!  They're currently 21-0.  Undefeated in their regular season and 1st place champs in 3 out of 3 tournaments so far.  They're a fun team to watch!!

I told them to smile and this is what they did...

...then I threatened bodily harm and got this.

However, their team name is "Stallions" and we figured that print in the background was fitting for a picture.

Mason's 8th Birthday!

We celebrated Mason's birthday on Sunday.  His actual birthday is tomorrow but the middle of the week is not a great time for a party.

He chose sledding, so back to the sledding hills we went!  The kids had a great time and definitely utilized every minute of the 2 hour time slot!

This kid brings us joy and laughter every day.  He's the life of the party, witty, charming, hilarious and makes friends wherever he goes.  He can hold a conversation with adults and keeps kids entertained with his craziness.

Don't get me wrong, he definitely drives us nuts too!  He was recently diagnosed with ADHD (no surprise there!) and his hyperactivity can get exhausting.  However, he's really starting to learn the tools to deal with it and calm himself down.  I'm so proud of him and the little man he's becoming.
