More baseball and fishing!  The theme of the summer!!  Baseball is officially over though and football has started!  Kade is playing his first year of tackle and Mason will soon be starting his second year of flag.  I'm still playing catch up though, so more pictures of the same stuff, different day! 😆. 

Kade has actually started school already!  The high school started 3 weeks earlier this year because of construction starting next spring.  So while Kade is getting up early to leave for school, Mason is still fast asleep in bed.  However, next spring will be the other way around and Mason won't be so happy then!

What do you do when there's a trout stream running right behind the baseball field?  You win the game quick and grab your pole!!

Mason and I were fishing off the dock this day when Erik surprised him by pulling up with the boat.

He was a happy little boy!

Same trout stream baseball field, Kade and Charlie's game this time.

They lost their game and they lost at fishing (unless you count those cute little things in their hand).

Kade's team was short players one game so Mason got called up!

He even got a hit!!!  He also got a ball hit to him in the outfield and he threw it in to Kade.  I'm not sure I'll ever see these 2 on the same team again, so it was pretty special.  Kade even said at the end of the night, "It was actually pretty cool having Mason on my team".  

Kade's team qualified for a State tournament.  

They kicked butt in their pool play, going 3-0.  However they lost in bracket play, which was unfortunate but they still had fun.

Probably the highlight for the boys was staying 2 nights at the hotel! 😆

Of course Mason found a fishing pond near the ballfields.  And you know dang well he had a pole with him, just in case!!
