The rest of the pictures from our August vacation!

Kade and his little buddies/cousins, Brooks...

...and Owen.
He does so well with the littlest cousins!!

Action shots...

Kade and Violet

That blow up dinosaur provided a lot of launching opportunities.
Unfortunately for Isaac, when Mason was involved, it meant he was getting launched.  We finally had to put an end to it when Isaac sprained his ankle.  It was fun while it lasted!

Yes, that's a lilly pad on Mason's head

One of MANY meals at the outdoor table!

Another day, another lilly pad

Mason's dream job is to be a fishing guide.  Either on the ocean or on a lake, he doesn't care.  As long as he's helping people catch fish, he's happy.
He was completely in his element with his younger cousins when they were fishing.  He'd bait their hook, they'd catch the fish, he'd take the fish off the hook.  He told me more than once it was good practice for when he's a guide!

That fish was just a bit too close to my face for comfort 😆

A quick trip to the mini golf course!

Aaaaaaaand the boat ran out of gas!!!  Erik to the rescue with his little fishing boat!

That view never gets old.

KadeO turned 13 in August!  An official teenager, although he's looked like a teenager for many years!

He talked Grandma and Uncle Jeremy into a new golf bag.
We got him those drippy sunglasses back in June for the baseball season (in case anyone isn't up on the cool words, "drip" means flashy, fancy, bling).  We were on vacation on his actual birthday so his uncles took him golfing.  Erik couldn't go because he was battling a bad case of gout at the time.  All in all, I'd say his 13th birthday was a success!

Smiled for mom...

...then did the face he actually wanted to make.
Teenagers don't smile, apparently.

Opening his cards and gifts at the cabin
