Vacation II

In August, between baseball ending and football staring, we took a vacation to the Black Hills.  The 4 of us, my parents, the 2 dogs and a camper!  We loaded up 2 vehicles and headed West(ish).

Mason and Lola assumed their positions for the 7 hour drive.

Trixie and I rode shotgun, Erik drove.  Kade rode in the truck with grandpa and grandma.

First overnight stop was Wall, SD

And, of course, the Badlands

Mason’s one goal for this trip was to buy himself a cowboy hat!

The boys loved walking around the Badlands.  Next time we go, we’ll have to stay longer.  Next up….Hill City.

 

We’re FINALLY at the end of all of my baseball pictures!  I just love watching these 2 play.  And I honestly never think to take pictures so I’m thankful for who do and then send them to me 😆

Next up, our vacation to the Black Hills.  I promise I won’t let a month go by before posting those 😬

Ok, this is more like the Kade I know at baseball games.  Loud and always wrestling/goofing off with someone.

He was chosen to play in an MVP tournament (or something along those lines).  So it was a team made up of a bunch of kids around the area.

 Ok now I’m just getting lazy!  Life is hectic but there’s not excuse for missing this many weeks!!  Uffda!  

I’m having issues with uploading pictures so these are completely out of order.

After our vacation in June we came home to baseball…baseball…fishing….and more baseball.  Oh and Mason had some fun playing in a  3:3 tournament while Kade and Erik were at a baseball tournament.  This brings us to about mid July!  I have some serious catching up to do 🫣

Bubba had a blast playing against and with his buddies for Eyota Daya.  However, now he’s considering wrestling and breaking his basketball loving mama’s heart 😩

This kid is a pitcher!  He worked hard all summer adding more pitches to his arsenal and it paid off.  If only we could get him to practice in the off season 😜

He got lots of compliments from opposing coaches for his pitching.  And he was intentionally walked more times than I care to remember.  I hate that.
